Plot Summary
The story begins in 1959 when young Priscilla, an Army brat, encounters Elvis at a party. Despite her youth and her parents’ concerns about their age difference, they begin a relationship that leads to her moving to Memphis to live with him. As they navigate their romance, Priscilla experiences both the glamour and isolation of being married to one of the most famous men in the world.

The film portrays Elvis as a complex figure—charming yet controlling—often under the influence of drugs. Their marriage unfolds against a backdrop of Elvis’s infidelities and personal struggles, leading to Priscilla feeling increasingly lonely and sidelined. After years of emotional turmoil and witnessing Elvis’s erratic behavior, she ultimately decides to leave him.

The narrative culminates with Priscilla driving away from Graceland, symbolizing her journey toward independence after years spent as Elvis’s wife.
