The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring

 

The movie begins with a backstory about the creation of the One Ring by the Dark Lord Sauron and its history through various owners until it comes into the possession of Frodo Baggins. Gandalf, a wizard, discovers the true nature of the ring and urges Frodo to leave the Shire to keep it safe. Frodo embarks on a perilous journey with his friends Sam, Merry, and Pippin, aided by the ranger Strider (Aragorn), to take the Ring to Mount Doom in Mordor to destroy it. Along the way, they face challenges from Sauron’s forces, including the Nazgûl.

The Fellowship faces trials and tribulations as they travel towards their destination, encountering allies like Arwen who helps save Frodo from the Nazgûl. They reach Rivendell where a council is held to decide the fate of the Ring. It is determined that a Fellowship consisting of representatives from different races will be formed to aid Frodo in his quest. The Fellowship sets out from Rivendell, facing dangers such as orcs, cave trolls, and betrayal from within their ranks.

As they continue their journey towards Mordor, tensions rise among the members of the Fellowship. They pass through Mines of Moria where they encounter ancient evil and lose one of their own members. Eventually, they reach Amon Hen where Boromir succumbs to temptation and tries to take the Ring from Frodo. Frodo decides to continue alone but is joined by Samwise Gamgee.
