In “Inside Out 2: Joy’s Son,” the film follows the events after the original “Inside Out.” Joy, one of the emotions in Riley’s mind, gives birth to her new son, Compassion. Compassion is depicted as having great compassion for emotions and especially for his mother, Joy. However, a mishap occurs where Compassion gets accidentally sucked into Riley’s mind. This leads to an adventure where the other emotions must embark on a journey to rescue him. Meanwhile, Subconscious Guards Frank and Dave are tasked with controlling Riley during this emotional upheaval.
