Plot Overview
“Rang De Basanti” is a 2006 Indian film that intertwines the past and present of India’s struggle for independence. The story begins with a British film student, Sue McKinley, who discovers her grandfather’s diary detailing his experiences as a colonel during the British Raj. Inspired by the revolutionary spirit of Indian freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, she travels to India to create a documentary about them.
