Plot Summary
“Where Is the Friend’s House?” is a 1987 Iranian drama film directed by Abbas Kiarostami. The story revolves around a conscientious schoolboy named Ahmad, who accidentally takes his friend Mohammad Reza’s notebook home after school. When Ahmad realizes that his friend is at risk of expulsion for not submitting his homework, he embarks on a quest to return the notebook to Mohammad Reza’s house in a neighboring village.
Throughout his journey, Ahmad encounters various adults who are either indifferent or unable to assist him in locating his friend’s home.
