Love for Rent

 

Plot Overview
In the romantic comedy film “Bride for Rent,” we follow the story of Rocco Espiritu, a young man who is on the verge of losing his inheritance due to a reckless night of partying and gambling. To access his trust fund, he must fulfill the condition set by his grandmother: he needs to get married. In desperate need of money, Rocco hires Rocky Dela Cruz, a woman struggling to pay her rent, to pose as his bride in exchange for a fee.

As they navigate their faux marriage, both characters face various challenges that test their agreement. Initially, their relationship is purely transactional; however, as they spend more time together, genuine feelings begin to develop between them. The situation becomes complicated when Rocky feels guilty about the deception and ultimately decides to come clean about their arrangement.

After a series of misunderstandings and emotional turmoil, Rocco realizes that he truly loves Rocky. With encouragement from his grandmother, he reconciles with his estranged father and seeks out Rocky to confess his feelings. The film culminates in a heartfelt conclusion where Rocco and Rocky decide to marry for real, solidifying their love while also achieving financial stability.
