Plot Summary
The story begins with Emeka Nwosu, who finds himself stuck in traffic due to an accident involving a pedestrian. During this chaos, his phone is stolen by two petty criminals, Charles and Chichi. As they navigate their own struggles, including theft and drug dealing, they discover the contents of Emeka’s phone and decide to blackmail him.

Meanwhile, Bello, an honest civil servant, faces corruption at work and personal issues with his wife Isabella, who is having an affair with Emeka. The narrative unfolds through various interactions among these characters, revealing themes of infidelity, societal corruption, and moral dilemmas.

As the day progresses, tensions rise when Kola, Babajide’s son (a newspaper publisher), becomes embroiled in the aftermath of a party where one of his friends is raped. This incident leads to further complications as Kola seeks to uncover the truth while grappling with his own identity.

The climax occurs when Adekunle confronts Emeka over the blackmail scheme. In a tragic misunderstanding fueled by anger and desperation, violence erupts leading to unexpected consequences for all involved.
