“Requiem for a Dream” is a 2000 American psychological drama film directed by Darren Aronofsky. The story follows four characters affected by drug addiction: Sara Goldfarb, a widow who becomes addicted to amphetamines in her pursuit of appearing on a television game show; her son Harry, a heroin addict; his girlfriend Marion; and their friend Tyrone.
